French JazzMutant company has launched the unique computer interface called “Lemur" (Lemur) - the controller of Multi-Touch Screen type. That is the screen which is capable of determining points of finger touches in several locations simultaneously.

"Lemur" is designed for musicians, DJ’s and sound control supervisors. Actually it represents adjustable mixer board with connection to a computer and a colourful graphic interface, which can be easily changed by the user by choosing one of the previously created settings.

Large buttons and sliders, various switches and floating balls that control special effects… All this comes to life under user’s fingers on the 12 inch touchscreen with the resolution of 800 x 600 pixels.

The device supports MIDI format, progressive Open Sound Control, is on “friendly terms” with all popular operating systems and also has a lot of connectors for studio facilities. Owing to the software provided together with the "Lemur", it can be adapted for various sound control solutions and become one of the key tools of a studio or a dancing hall.
