Russian “Quasar-Micro” company to introduce a new portable system!
The portable system is positioned as a point of sale terminal with a thermal printer, bar-code scanner and smart card reader simultaneously. It works from accumulators and can be placed in a small suitcase. This is a convenient solution allowing reading cards in any place, including movable booths, news stalls or market place.
The device can function in two modes. Without network connection, for example, it gathers the data from all plastic cards during the day, and after it is connected, all data will be transmitted to the unified payment system. Moreover, there is a possibility to integrate a GPRS-modem into the portable system.
